I’m a native of Paris, Texas, which is, as we natives like to say, the Second Largest Paris in the World. I served five years on active duty and twenty-three years on reserve duty in the US Army, retiring in 2003 as a Lieutenant Colonel. I worked for seventeen years for Campbell Soup Company as an engineer and manger, becoming a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas in the discipline of Manufacturing Engineering. I’ve taught at the collegiate level at Texas Tech University, Coastal Carolina University, Paris Junior College, and now at Hardin-Simmons.
