Dr. Lindsay Edwards Spindler, is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, Health, and Recreation and serves as the graduate program director for the Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science from Abilene Christian University, her Masters of Education from Tarleton State University and her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston.

She came to HSU in 2008 and currently teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses. She has many interests in Kinesiology, but her primary interest is in motor control and human performance. She works closely with undergraduate and graduate students on a variety of research projects, and desires to enrich student learning both in the classroom and online. She is currently a member of American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the Christian Society for Kinesiology, Leisure and Sports Studies (CSKLS).
