We may be located in Abilene – but you don’t have to be! Students studying online receive the same dedicated level of education as those on campus. Whether you are home for the summer or around the world doing missionary work, our programs allow you to obtain your education, no matter your location.

HSU Online is Nationally Recognized for Quality

Our online teaching and course development programs are some of the best in the country. Both the HSU Department of Online Education and HSU faculty have received National awards for research, innovation, and best practices in online teaching and course development. The Department of Online Education supports faculty members by providing training in course design and pedagogy.

Hardin-Simmons University has been approved by the State of Texas to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of post-secondary distance education. HSU is also a participating member of the Southern Regional Education Board’s Electronic Campus.
