HOSS Chatbot
Chat with HOSS anytime. Our AI chatbot is available 24–7 to answer student questions, share campus information, send helpful reminders, and make it easy to find resources when you need them.
Strategic Learning Initiative (SLI)
SLI is a first-semester course designed to help you strengthen academic skills, manage time effectively, and build confidence as you transition into college. Through twice-weekly classes, hands-on learning strategies, and weekly one-on-one coaching, SLI offers personalized support that helps you start strong at HSU. This two-credit course is included in HSU’s block tuition.
Tutoring & Academic Support
The Academic Center for Enrichment (ACE) offers free-of-charge opportunities for you to work one-on-one with a more academically experienced student to enrich your understanding and application of the concepts you are learning in the classroom.
Test Proctoring & CLEP
Hardin-Simmons provides individualized test proctoring for approved students. HSU is also an approved location for the CLEP exam. Read more about HSU's testing services.
