Welcome to Financial Aid!

Did you know that more than 97% of students at Hardin-Simmons University receive some type of financial aid? That means chances are good that you’re eligible, too. That’s why it’s important to apply for aid using the  Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) for students that  are classified as a Texas Resident who cannot apply for federal financial aid.

Important Dates

  • File the FAFSA – Opens each year in October
  • Complete the HSU Scholarship Central Application – Opens each year in February
  • Apply for any additional loans – Most applications open in late March
