Online Teacher Registration Certification The HSU Online Certification Course is designed to equip you in developing an online philosophy to successfully teach an online course. In this training, you will experience online learning from a student’s perspective, examine online teaching behaviors, see best practices, course design, social presence, faith integration as well as basic and advanced online teaching and course design principles. This course will give you the tools and confidence to teach excellent online. Completion of this course is required for full-time and adjunct faculty at Hardin-Simmons University.

Yes, there will be an online webinar that you can attend live (recommended) or can watch later if unable to attend at the time of the live webinar. The rest of the course can be accomplished at your own pace. However, there will be assignments due at certain times/dates throughout the course.
There are approximately 4-6 hours per week of time required to complete the weekly objectives.
Yes, there are two textbooks and you can view those on the syllabus.
