Nathan S. George is an Associate Professor of Business Administration in the Accounting program. A Certified Public Accountant and experienced tax professional, George brings a unique combination of academic preparation, industry leadership, and practical expertise to the classroom.
In addition to owning and operating a tax and accounting consulting firm, George has held positions with organizations including PwC, Toyota North America, and Condley and Company. He is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a former President of the TXCPA, Abilene Chapter, and a member of the TXCPA Federal Tax Policy Committee at the state-level organization.
Before entering the accounting profession, George spent more than a decade serving in the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Intelligence Community as a Russian and Persian Farsi language analyst. His diverse background in leadership, strategic analysis, and public service enriches the learning experience for students preparing for careers in accounting and business.
