    Academic Degrees

    Political Science students may pursue the following degree programs:

    Bachelor of Arts
    Bachelor of Behavioral Science

    The major consists of 30 semester hours, including 1302, 2301, 2303, 3302, 3324, 4307, and PHIL 1301 or PHIL 2335; 9 additional advanced hours in political science. For BBS requirements refer to General Outlines in Chapter 7.

    The minor requirements are 18 semester hours, including POLS 1302, 2301, 2302 or 3302, 3324; 6 additional advanced hours in political science.


    The Legal Studies Minor involves a unique multidisciplinary minor of law and law-related courses in Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Business Administration. Students may major in Political Science and minor in Legal Studies.
