Wealth Management Minor

The primary objectives for the Wealth Mangement minor are to provide a solid investment management foundation along with knowledge of managing special assets such as real estate for trust companies, investment management firms, private wealth organizations, large foundations, and other companies that specialize in managing stock and investment portfolios.

The Wealth Management program is designed to provide students with career opportunities in banking & financial services. A minor in Wealth Management opens up opportunities for students to work in banking, investment and portfolio management, and financial services. This minor fits on any business degree, but is especially appropriate for Finance majors.

Wealth Management Minor Courses

All HSU students are eligible for the program.

Careers attached to the minor include: commercial banking, investment banking, trust management, financial planning, etc. The program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in managing investment portfolios, managing and growing wealth, trust administration as well as course preparation for the Level 1 CFA examination.

After graduation, it is suggested that graduates pursue Certified Financial Analyst I, II, & III, Series 6, 7, & 63 investment licensure.
