Music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire

    From Up Here

    By Liz Flahive
    Directed by Kelsie LeFlore

Kenny Barrett did something that has everyone worried. He wishes he could just make it through the rest of his senior year unnoticed, but that's going to be hard since he has to publicly apologize to his entire high school. At home, his mother is struggling with a rocky start to her second marriage and a surprise visit from her estranged sister. A new play about a family limping out the door in the morning and coming home no matter what. Hip, smart, and fresh. April 5-7 at 7:30pm and April 8 at 2:00pm . Down Centre Stage Laboratory Theatre, in the basement of the Van Ellis Theatre Building

    The Marriage of Figaro

    By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
    Directed by Dr. Chris Hollingsworth

Figaro, the wily barber and part-time matchmaker has finally fallen in love, but--like everything else in his life--it's complicated. On the eve of Figaro’s marriage to Susanna, Count Almaviva’s wandering eye has landed on the lovely bride-to-be. Servant and master go head to head, and even the Countess herself gets into the action when she learns of her husband’s plans. Or is she embroiled in a liaison of her own? Mozart’s comic masterpiece delivers an ageless message of love and forgiveness. April 12-14 at 7:30pm and April 15 at 2:00pm at Van Ellis Theatre.
