The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) is designed to evaluate atypical educational experiences. Students who have never enrolled for any college credit and who score at or above indicated scores may earn credit through the General and/or Subject Examinations.(Note: Enrollment in the equivalent class prevents the student from attempting credit by examination in the class.)
Step 1 - "Request a Date"
Exams are administered Monday-Friday 8:30am - 3:00pm
Step 2 - Register / Pay for your CLEP on the College Board website
$80 payable to CLEP (register online)
$15 ($25 for English exams) payable to HSU by cash onlyHow to Register
Go to the official CLEP website http://clep.collegeboard.org/ and create an account. After that, use your account to register for the CLEP exam and receive your Ticket ID. For step by step instructions on how to register click here.
Step 3 - Study
The College Board website has practice questions or the Advising office has a limited supply of study guides to check out.
Step 4 - Go to Sandefer Memorial room 209 and bring your Ticket ID and a photo ID with you on test day
