Welcome to Hardin-Simmons University! We are honored to serve our veterans and their families. As a participating institution in the Department of Defense Voluntary Education Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (DOD MOU), HSU subscribes to principles and criteria to ensure that quality academic programs and services are available to veteran students and their families. We are honored that you chose HSU to assist you in achieving your academic goals.
The Veterans Benefits Coordinator is located in the Registrar’s Office on the first floor of Sandefer Memorial. We assist student veterans with the processing of the VA forms required for educational benefits, advise on procedural requirements, and certify enrollment. Rules and regulations are frequently updated so it is important that we work together to provide the benefits you have earned. Refer to the Department of Veterans Affairs website for the most current information and to apply for education benefits.
In addition to numerous on campus resources, there is an active Veterans Student Group that meets regularly to provide additional camaraderie, support and encouragement.
You will find helpful links on this page to guide you through the process of admission, applying for benefits, degree programs and much more. If you have questions, please contact us.
