    Preview events are great opportunities to visit campus and learn how HSU can be a part of your story. Our admission staff will guide the day, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet current students, visit with faculty, and tour our campus. You’ll have the opportunity to join us for lunch in the dining hall and even attend an athletic or theatre event.

    Honors College Preview Day November 10th
    Students interested in participating in the Honor's Program are invited to attend this event to learn more about HSU and the distinctive opportunities afforded by the Honor's program.

      Join current honors faculty, students, and admission staff at Abilene's iconic vintage mini golf park. The unique Abilene locale, live music, and free food trucks provide the backdrop for the night as you get to know your fellow peers and future professors. All are welcome.

      If you are planning to attend Fall Preview on the 11th, join the Honors program for an informal breakfast prior to the Fall Preview events. Checkin for Fall Preview and the breakfast at the Skiles Building

    Fall Preview November 11th
    Attend Fall Preview to experience all that HSU has to offer. Meet faculty and learn more about your specific academic program, tour our beautiful campus, engage with current students, connect with student organizations, and check out the residence halls. Fall Preview is an excellent opportunity to help you with your college decision. All prospective students are invited to attend.

      9:00 - Check In 1 (Welcome Center)

                Check in and get your schedule for the day, then you'll be escorted on a tour of campus.

      9:30 - Campus Tour (Leaving from Welcome Center)

                You'll have the opportunity to walk the Forty Acres, see a typical residence hall, learn about various landmarks around campus, and much more!

      10:00 - Check In 2 (Welcome Center)

                Check in and get your schedule for the day, then you'll be escorted on a tour of campus.

      10:30 - Welcome (Johnson Building, Multipurpose Room)

      11:00 - Academic Open House (Colleges)

                Get a glimpse of what your future could be like at HSU! This is your opportunity to visit with the dean of the department of your academic area of interest and tour those facilities. Whether or not you have decided on a major, it is important to go with the area you are most interested in at this time.

      12:00 - Lunch

                 Experience a typical meal in the Hardin-Simmons Dining Hall. Lunch is provided for all registered prospective students. Additional meal tickets are $5.50 each. Moody)

      12:00 - Campus Connection

                 Meet with current students and find student organizations that you can be a part of at HSU.        

      1:00 - Breakout Sessions (Financial Aid Literacy, Student Life, Next Steps)

                Attend a breakout session to learn more about a topic of your interest

                Complete a survey for your free Fall Preview HSU Tshirt, talk with admission staff, and grab an ice cream sandwich on the way out!
