    At Hardin-Simmons, we believe that quality higher education should also be affordable. We provide different opportunities to help you financially! These numbers are all based on a 4-year Undergraduate degree.

    Scholarships for International Students

    All accepted international students who submit a sufficient ACT, SAT, or TOEFL score will receive a University Scholarship! These scholarships will be on a per-year basis for 4 years.

    Institutional Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen

    Trustees $15,500   29+ ACT or 1920 SAT or 1350 RSAT; 3.5 GPA to renew
    Presidents $13,000   25 ACT or 1680 SAT or 1200 RSAT; 3.0 GPA to renew
    Deans $11,500   23 ACT or 1560 SAT or 1130 RSAT; 2.5 GPA to renew
    University $11,000   79 TOEFL or 20 ACT or 1390 SAT or 1020 RSAT; 2.0 GPA to renew
         
    *Scores represent composite scores from the ACT, SAT, and the new RSAT. 
    For all institutional scholarships, students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress toward a degree to continue to receive the award. Awards are tuition-specific for a maximum of eight (8) long semesters. Renewal requires a 2.0 GPA and full-time enrollment. Students may receive only one of the scholarship awards listed above.. For the Big Country Scholarship, students must meet regular admission requirements and maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress toward a degree to receive the award.

    Deans $9,500     3.0 Transfer GPA; 2.5 GPA to renew
    University $8,000     2.0 Transfer GPA; 2.0 GPA to renew
    Phi Theta Kappa    $2,000     PTK must be indicated on transcript
    *Based on 24 transferable hours. Transfer students with less than 24 transferable credits will be evaluated under freshman admission and scholarships guidelines. Awards are tuition-specific for a maximum of eight (8) long semesters. Official college transcripts are required to validate the cumulative GPA and the number of transferrable credit hours. Renewal requires a 2.0 GPA and full-time enrollment.
