Upcoming HSU Alumni Events

The Alumni Engagement Office plans a variety of events throughout the year to bring HSU Alumni and friends together.  As your schedule permits, we hope you will register to join us for the events that apply to you. Pre-registration is required for most events!

HSU is coming to a city near you! Connect with HSU alumni, staff, and friends over dinner. At each gathering, there will be a short program which will include an update from HSU coaches, academic deans, and or faculty/staff members.   • Thursday, August 13 | Abilene – HSU Campus Prayer Walk | Meet at Logsdon Chapel at 7:30 p.m. | No RSVP required. Hardin-Simmons University invites the Big Country community, HSU alumni, and supporters everywhere to participate in the second annual Prayer Walk beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Logsdon Chapel. The event will begin with a time of group prayer at the chapel before participants disperse across campus to pray over our campus. The Prayer Walk aims to spiritually prepare the university for the upcoming academic year by lifting up the students, faculty, and staff who will occupy all campus spaces.
  • Saturday, August 22 | HSU Stampede New Student Alumni Ice Cream Social | The HSU Alumni Association is hosting it’s annual Homemade Ice Cream Social for HSU’s new students this year on Saturday, August 23 from 7:15-9:00 p.m. We need 36 gallons of homemade ice cream! If you would like to participate, we ask that you make the ice cream yourself, nothing store bought. Click HERE to sign up!
