    Miranda Stewart

      How Long You Have Been at the Writing Center: First Semester

      Hometown: Kyle, TX 

      Specializes in: I enjoy talking with students during their brainstorming process and while writing thesis statements. (I am a “big picture” person!) I also love punctuation, grammar, and friendship. Being a social work major, I have experience in writing APA formatted papers!

      Recommends: I recommend not coming to the writing center for the first time too soon before your paper is due! It’s important to give yourself plenty of time to draft and edit your writing; the more eyes you have look over a paper, the more confident you will be turning it in!  

      Fun FactI have never read Shakespeare. (This is actually more of a confession. Sorry, Dr. W-M.)

      Fun Fact: The only time I have ever gotten pulled over by a cop was because someone called me in for “domestic violence/kidnapping”… when it was really just my fifteen-year-old brother being ornery, opening and shutting the back door while I was trying to drive.
