About Senator James Lankford
Senator James Lankford has served the people of Oklahoma since his election to the U.S. Senate in 2014, following four years in the U.S. House of Representatives. Before Congress, Lankford worked for over 20 years in ministry, including 15 years as Director of Falls Creek Youth Camp. Known for his work in government transparency and fiscal responsibility, he has earned the title of “Taxpayers’ Friend” by the National Taxpayers Union. Lankford lives in Oklahoma City with his wife Cindy and their two daughters.
This evening not only celebrates the spirit of service but also supports a worthy cause— raising scholarships for Hardin-Simmons University students. The first two Simmons Dinners raised over $125,000 in scholarships for Hardin-Simmons students, and we look forward to continuing this tradition.
We hope to see you there!
