Student Research Symposium on April 22

The Holland School of Sciences and Mathematics Research Society will hold its Student Research Symposium Saturday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Sid Richardson Science Center. It is a free event open to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students who wish to submit an abstract for approval and consideration in the symposium. 

The symposium is multidisciplinary and includes research in all areas of Arts and Humanities, Social Science,and STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics]. The event is open to the public and a great way to showcase student research around the area. 

All selected participants will have their abstracts published in the symposium program. 

HSSM’s Research Society is an organization established to promote interest in undergraduate and graduate research through the development, communication, and publication of original research personally, socially, professionally, and worldwide along with hybridizing research across the disciplines. The organization strives to enhance connections between peers, faculty, and other individuals involved in or pursuing research along with the promotion of research as a career field. The symposium is an event executed in order to promote interest in research.
