On Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5, the legendary Cowboy Band will once again bring its signature sound to the 95th annual Texas Cowboy Reunion in Stamford, Texas—continuing a celebrated tradition.

The Cowboy Band has participated in this event since the mid-1930s, performing at over 85 Cowboy Reunions since then. The Cowboy Reunion is the world’s largest amateur rodeo.

Since that historic debut, the band’s presence has become a central fixture of Stamford’s annual celebration of Western heritage and Independence Day, embodying a unique blend of musical excellence and cowboy culture.

For nearly a century, the band has helped open the grand entry, lead parades, and provide unforgettable musical experiences under the West Texas sky. Their performances have become a symbol of both HSU pride and the enduring spirit of the American West.

Even if you can’t be there in person, you can still catch the action — The Cowboy Channel will livestream the event, sharing this iconic slice of HSU history with fans nationwide.
