Involvement Opportunities
Game Night
The Computer Science department has an established tradition of hosting
a game night during homecoming weekend. Each game night begins with
pizza and soft drinks and culminates in a wild shootout as alumni and
current students converge on the computer labs to play multi-user
networked games.
Bingo Night
Each Christmas, a number of majors participate in a bingo night. Prizes
are substantial and include scholarships. Faculty bring desserts and
food is catered. Each participant brings canned food to help with a
food drive. The highlight of the evening is always the bingo calling
performed by computer science faculty member, Chris Thibault! Not only
does he keep the room in stitches, he also uses a computer program
written by students in the Graphical User Interfaces course to run
the event!
Across Campus
There are also several ways to get involved around campus. Check out the groups and organizations on the Current Students page as well as Residence Life activities and events throughout HSU's website!
