    Description
The two-week Health Sciences Summer Enrichment Program (HSSEP) at Hardin-Simmons University (HSU) offers an opportunity for students who are interested in the health sciences to strengthen their skills in science and mathematics in a college environment. The program aims to build confidence in student’s ability to master science skills at the college level and to expose students to a variety of healthcare career options. HSSEP at HSU consists of a combination of college lectures, engaging labs, and interactive sessions with health care professionals and their workplaces. Lecture and lab classes in biology, chemistry and college algebra or pre-calculus will be offered. These classes are designed to prepare students for success on further pre-health admissions tests.
