- Chapel every Tuesday and Thursday in Logsdon Chapel, 9:30 a.m.
- Presidents Day, February 19 (campus is open; classes are in session)
- Spring Break, March 11-15 (no classes March 11-15; offices closed March 14-15)
- Easter, March 31 (no classes and offices closed March 29)
- Western Heritage Day, April 25

HSU Receives $15,000 Grant to Support AISD Teacher Development
May 5, 2025Hardin-Simmons University has received a $15,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Abilene to support the Dream-Makers Professional Development workshop for Abilene Independent School District teachers. The workshop, scheduled for June 9–12, 2025, on the HSU campus, is designed to provide professional development opportunities for early career AISD teachers, those who wish to enhance their knowledge in meeting the needs of diverse learners.
