We started 2025 off with a rare snow day in West Central Texas!
Hardin-Simmons University proudly launched its inaugural on-campus nursing program, welcoming 30 first-year students and 45 pre-nursing track students. Read more here.
Hardin-Simmons hosted its 3rd annual Big Country MLK Prayer Breakfast announcing Matthew Lubin, Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church, as the guest speaker.
Larry O’Donnell, retired founder, Chairman of the Board, CEO, and President of Rockwater Energy Solutions, Inc., now Select Energy Services, and the first Undercover Boss joined us as the guest speaker at Chapel. Larry shared a powerful message about his faith and gave a fresh perspective on how to hone your leadership skills while glorifying Him.

The theatre department hosted its unique and entertaining 24-hour Shakespeare production, where every cast member (except the directors) learns the name of the Shakespeare play they will perform just 24 hours before the curtains rise at Hardin-Simmons University.
