PA School Open House on May 4

HSU’s Physician Assistant Program will hold an Open House on Thursday, May 4 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in their new building at 1149 Ambler Avenue. The event is open to all HSU faculty, staff, alumni, and current students. The PA Program also welcomes community members, preceptors and the PA Advisory Board.

“We would like for people to see our new PA Building, meet the PA Faculty and staff and learn more about this new program,” Bonnie Powell, Administrative Assistant to the Physician Assistant Program Director, said.

The PA Program was granted provisional accreditation by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) on April 5th. This means that the program has been approved to enroll its first cohort of students and begin this fall. The school has had over 2,000 applicants, but select only 30 students per year.
