For over 75 years Hardin-Simmons and Cisco College have been providing higher education to members of the Big Country and West Texas.  Under a new articulation (transfer) agreement, signed by HSU President, Dr. Lanny Hall and Cisco President, Mr. Bobby Smith, students will be able to focus on their coursework rather than their transfer paperwork.

The agreement, that is set to begin this fall, will clearly identify which courses Cisco students may transfer to HSU and better prepare them for their major fields of study.

Dr. Laura Pogue, dean of general education studies, recognized the need for a partnership between the two schools and spearheaded the agreement. “HSU and Cisco College have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship in reaching the Big Country, West Texas, and beyond since Cisco opened its doors in 1940.  This agreement marks our continued partnership in to the 21st century.”

HSU and Cisco are dedicated to making sure that they provide high quality and affordable educational opportunities to their students and the articulation agreement will make it a seamless transition, allowing for students finish more quickly and with less expense.
