Patty Hanks provides a 10-Day CNA Certification Class!
Our state approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program prepares students to assist patients with daily living needs and to assist Nurses. Students are taught the Texas Department of Aging and Disability (TDAD) Curriculum and by the end of the course, students will be prepared to take their CNA state exam and to function as an entry level CNA employee.
PHSSN received a 100% State pass rate for 2015 and again achieved another 100% in 2016. CNA students who successfully complete the required hours and course objectives will be eligible to submit their application to take their state certification exam.
The cost of the course is $900.00 and tuition includes: CNA textbook, 100 hours of instruction, application fees for state exam, required clinical attire, and a drug test.

The State of Texas requires certain immunizations for the CNA students which can be downloaded here: Required State Immunizations for CNA Class
Per State regulations, immunizations must be current prior to clinical training. Students will not be permitted to attend clinical training without proper documentation of the required immunizations, in addition to a negative TB test.

The program is a total of 100 hours and consists of both classroom and clinical days. Classroom and Clinical days will be as follows:
8:00 am - 2:30 pm (Students are encouraged to bring their lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available for use.)
Our fast pace class is designed for individuals who are dedicated and are quick learners. A previous medical background and/or medical courses would be helpful. The program is a total of 100 hours and consists of both classroom and clinical days. Classroom and Clinical days will be as follows:
Our 10-day class is designed for students with medical experience or for students that have taken medical course(s).
Thursday, Friday, Saturday (10-hour classes)
8:00am - 6:30pm (Students are encouraged to bring a lunch. A refrigerator and microwave are available for use.)
