Student Egg Hunt

March 26, 2024 Charis Ochu

On March 22, 2024, a perfectly sunny day, two residence halls, Anderson and Ferguson, celebrated Easter through a friendly egg hunt game. Students joined in the fun, attempting to win various gift baskets provided at the event. Special eggs were placed strategically in unconventional spaces, and those who found them won prizes. Furthermore, students could design and decorate Easter baskets with decorations provided by residence life.

For refreshments, a DIY ice cream sandwich bar was put together by Residence Directors Chloe Carter and Givan Rhodes for the participants to feast on before and after the game.

Hillary Haywood, a junior biology major and Assistant Resident Director for Anderson Hall shared, “I loved watching the residents have fun and the dedication they displayed to find the eggs.” She values her role in residence life and cherishes moments like this when she gets to experience the beauty of community.
