Serving During Spring Break

Spring break is a time most students look forward to. It provides an opportunity to destress and prepare for the remaining half of the semester. Students often go on vacations with family and friends. However, some choose to spend this time serving their communities.

Baptist Student Ministry Director Manny Silva, along with Jenna Kelly, a member of the BSM, joined about 900 BSM members from across the country in serving the beachgoers of South Padre, Texas.

Some of the assistance they offered included offering free van rides and pancakes while sharing the gospel with the people of the island. Manny Silva shared, “this trip was an amazing opportunity to serve college students and share the hope of Christ with them as well.”
