(WEATHERFORD, Texas)—Hardin-Simmons University (HSU) signed an articulation agreement with Weatherford College on May 28 that will provide students with a direct transfer option to finish their degrees at Hardin-Simmons. The agreement streamlines the process of transferring students’ completed hours from Weatherford to HSU.

This partnership outlines a course plan of classes from Weatherford College that will transfer to HSU, as well as a course plan from HSU that will simplify transfer students’ advising sessions by listing the most beneficial classes required to receive a bachelor degree.

Weatherford College marks HSU’s eighth articulation agreement, as HSU has previously signed agreements with Tarrant Co. College, Hill College, Blinn College, Midland College, Collin College, Cisco College, and Ranger College. These agreements allow students to begin their higher education journeys closer to home and have the peace of mind knowing their credits will transfer to HSU at a later date.

Most bachelor degrees at HSU require 124 credit hours to complete. The first 66 of these are eligible for transfer from a two-year institution.
