January 27, 2022 Mary Burke

This week, Hardin-Simmons University will host over 200 students from Howard Payne University, Oklahoma Baptist University, East Texas Baptist University, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Dallas Baptist University, Houston Baptist University, and Mississippi College for the Christian Association of Student Leaders (CASL) Conference. Students from these campuses, along with HSU students, will participate in group discussions, pray together, listen to various speakers, and build friendships.

The CASL Conference is hosted by a different university each year to allow participants to travel across the region and see other campus leadership teams in action.

Megan Teal, Assistant to the Vice President of Student Life and the event organizer, said the goal of the CASL Conference is to “develop and strengthen college students in their campus leadership roles through collaboration and keynote speaker. Students are able to see other campuses and their leaders, share ideas, and seek answers to possible challenges they face in their student leadership areas.

The 2022 CASL Conference is scheduled from January 27 through January 29.
