The official email channel for disseminating information from the University to students will be their HSU email account. Students are responsible for checking their HSU email accounts regularly for university correspondence.
The state requires that all incoming new students under the age of 30 must have the meningitis vaccine within the last 5 years and at least 10 days prior to the first day of class. In addition, Hardin-Simmons University requires every new incoming student under 30 years of age who intends to live on campus to have had the meningitis vaccine within the last 5 years prior to the first day of class and at least 10 days prior to the first day of moving on campus.
