Dr. Chuck Ruot

Dr. Chuck Ruot, professor of fitness and sport sciences, is director
of the HSU Human Performance Lab. He received an Ed.D in kinesiology and health
promotion from the University of Kentucky and holds the CSCS from the NSCA.
Ruot’s experience at the college level includes teaching,
administration, coaching, and strength and conditioning. His area of teaching
and research are in exercise and sport science at the undergraduate and
graduate levels.
He has been recognized in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers, and is an active member of the
ACSM, NSCA , and TAHPERD .
