Ministry Practical Studies - The courses and degrees in Church Ministry and Missions are designed to serve the educational and vocational guidance needs of those planning church-related careers as pastors, ministers of education, ministers of youth, other local staff members, missionaries, social workers, denominational personnel, counselors, or other Christian ministers. The courses in Church Ministry and Missions are intended to provide foundational preparation for those presently serving churches and those who plan to do further study in graduate theological education. HSU students are invited to strengthen their Christian leadership potential by selecting courses as electives.

Logsdon School Foundation Courses - For all majors in the Logsdon School, the following foundational courses are required in addition to those of the major : BIBL 2331, THEO 2101, 4323, and CHST 4353. BIBL 1301 and 1302 are also taken to satisfy the HSU core. Grades in these courses impact the grade point average of the major.
