The Social Work minor is not preparation for professional social
work practice and is only intended to enhance the students’
overall knowledge, skills and professional practice in their
chosen field of study. Only graduates with a Bachelor’s degree
or Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
may become a professional social worker, be approved for
professional licensing examination, or obtain graduate
credit/advanced standing for undergraduate academic work.
