Dr. Travis Frampton
Vice President for University Mission and
Strategic Vision
Dr. Frampton has accepted a promotion to
the newly-created position of Vice President
for University Mission and Strategic Vision
effective August 1, 2018. Among the many
duties Frampton will have, he will work
alongside the president as they focus on
enrollment and advancement during the next
year.
Dr. Frampton will also utilize his experience
to support the foundation of HSU’s plan for
strategic expansion and innovation through
deliberate efforts to integrate Simmons’ idea
of Christlieb into every area of growth on our
campus.
Mr. Michael Monhollon
Professor of Business Law
Dean of the Kelley College of Business
Associate Provost
Mr. Monhollon was recently appointed as
HSU’s Associate Provost. This appointment is
effective immediately, and Mr. Monhollon will
continue his duties concurrently with those as
Dean of the Kelley College of Business.
In January 2018, Mr. Monhollon taught a five-
day course in Business Ethics in the master’s
program in Hospitality and Tourism at the
University of Applied Sciences in Salzburg,
Austria.
Dr. Donalyn Alexander
Associate Professor of Nursing
Associate Dean of the Patty Hanks Shelton
School of Nursing
Dr. Alexander returned to the faculty of
the Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing
on April 30, 2018 as an Associate Professor
of Nursing and the Associate Dean after
completing 17 years at Hendrick Medical
Center as the Director of Education and
Professional Development.
Mr. Chaluza Kapaale
Assistant Professor of Nursing,
Chair of the BSN Program,
Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing
Mr. Kapaale published an article in the March
edition of the American Association of
Perioperative Nurses Journal.
Dr. Tim Chandler
Professor of Communications,
Cynthia Ann Parker College of Liberal Arts
Dr. Chandler had his class, Survey of
Advertising, collaborate with Jim Hammond,
Superintendent of Fort Belknap on the Texas
Forts Trail, to produce a new exhibit for the
museum at the fort.
