The RN-BSN program provides nurses who have an Associate Degree in Nursing an opportunity to further develop their ability to care for clients, their families, and the community. BSN graduates may also enroll in graduate nursing programs to pursue the role of Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Educator. Because the program is 100 percent online, it is a great option for working nurses, and it can be completed in three semesters. The online RN-BSN program builds off the existing successful nursing program. Ninety-eight percent of HSU’s BSN graduates are employed as nurses within six months of graduation at Baylor Medical, Cook Children’s, and Dell Children’s, among others. The Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation (KSPR) degree is an applied studies and interdisciplinary program that prepares graduates for careers in a variety of areas: wellness, sport performance enhancement/ strength and conditioning, health, recreation and fitness, facilities and programs, athletic administration, sport marketing, professional sport management, and coaching. The KSPR degree can be completed in as little as one year.
