at First Baptist Church, Lancaster given by

Mr. Eddie Jenkins ’60BA,

and wife Martha,

celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in

December 2017. Eddie worked at Baylor Hospital

in Dallas before being drafted in to the Army. He

served 40 years as a biochemist at Walter Reed

Army Institution of Research in Washington,

DC. He and Martha have two sons and five

grandchildren. They currently reside in Silver

Spring, MD;

Mrs. Johnnie Lou (Davis) Boyd ’64x,

wrote a

Mrs. Charlotte (Kyzar) Evans ’64BS,

was

inducted into the San Marcos Women’s Hall

of Fame in October 2017. Since retiring from

public education as Assistant Director of Special

Education in 1998, and then teaching part-time

for Texas State University for 14 years, Charlotte

has been involved as the Lead Coordinator

for a volunteer non-profit in San Marcos called

Hands of Hope. This ministry is affiliated with

Christian Women’s Job Corps, an international

ministry of the Women’s Missionary Union.

Charlotte and husband, Cecil D. Evans ’64BBA,

are both retired and live in San Marcos, Texas.

They have one son, Colby, and two beautiful

grandchildren;

celebrated

her 20th anniversary as Organist and Music

Director at First Presbyterian Church of

Englewood, Colorado. She is retired from a

career in financial services, and enjoys life with

step-daughters, three granddaughters, four step-

grandchildren, friends, music, being a historical

educator, quilting and volunteerism;
