Dr. Courtney Clark ’09BBS/’12DPT , daughter of Keith Clark ’75BS , recently competed in the 2017 Tour de Gap bicycle race. She finished second over-all in the 11 mile category. This was her first competition and her speed averaged 15.5 mph. Courtney finished 50 seconds behind the first place finisher. Ms. Kara Donaldson ’09BBA , now lives in Nairobi, Kenya as a missionary with International Treasure House Ministries, Inc. (ITHM). ITHM rescues and equips orphans and destitute children by breaking the cycle of poverty through education, family, and adoption. In August 2017, the Sonoma Stompers of the Pacific Association of Professional Baseball presented the inaugural Chris Matthews Award to its namesake as well as a current player for the Stompers. Christ was a member of the 2016 Pacific Association Championship Team, serving as the bench coach as well as a catcher.
