• HSU Cheerleading

Should Stand(1)Hardin-Simmons cheerleaders are dedicated ambassadors for the University. They not only provide support for all home games for Cowboy football and basketball but they also promote loyalty and excitement at many events around the campus. HSU cheerleaders often volunteer their time in the surrounding community serving others, making public appearances and participating in fundraising events for non-profit organizations. The Co-ed squad is chosen in the spring term and all students with an interest are encouraged to try out.

HSU cheerleaders are a very diverse group of personalities, backgrounds and chosen majors but when it comes to school spirit and the team they come together as a family. Cheering, often gives students a fun way to get know people and stay active while instilling a whole new level of confidence that they have not experienced before.
