On behalf of the entire Residence Life team, welcome to the HSU family! You are about to embark upon one of the most enriching, transformational, and enlightening experiences of your life, and we are excited for the opportunity to journey alongside you.
As partners enacting the mission of Hardin-Simmons University, Residence Life is dedicated to the learning experience of students through on-campus living. We cultivate a Christ-centered, diverse, and transformative living-learning environment, developing whole persons who are growing in their capacity to be responsible participants in their communities, faithful citizens of God’s Kingdom, and agents of change in the world. We accomplish this through a vibrant residential program where we intentionally connect our students to God and each other.
On-campus living is designed to help you succeed in countless ways. We seek to help you establish thriving relationships with professors and peers alike, as well as advocate for healthy lifestyles that support you as an individual. Our hope is that you will make connections through community, and that those connections will prepare you for a lifetime of success.
The Residence Life Department at HSU is a team of full-time professionals that are dedicated to the creation and development of community in the university’s living spaces. These staff members are assigned to each of the communities on campus, and bring unique experiences and approaches to these living environments.
ResLife Central is the system dedicated entirely to Residence Life at HSU. Login here to sign up for housing, cancel housing, or discover who your roommate will be. Each Spring, students at HSU will use this system to participate in the lottery for available spaces in the Campus Apartments and Houses.
