  • HSU Host to Global Leadership Conference in Abilene Area on August 11-12, 2016

For the sixth year, Hardin-Simmons University and HSU’s Logsdon Seminary are partnering with The Willow Creek Association to serve as a premier host site for The Global Leadership Summit – a live satellite-broadcast leadership conference designed to transform Christian leaders around the world with an injection of vision, skill development, and inspiration for the sake of the local church. HSU is one of only 19 locations in Texas for the conference drawing more than 150,000 participants in the US alone. HSU will host the Summit on August 11-12, 2016 in Behrens Auditorium.

In addition to nurturing leadership, the two-day conference also offers participants an opportunity to reflect on the impact of leaders as agents of transformation in a hurting world. More than an annual training event, The Global Leadership Summit represents leaders from an amazing diversity of cultures, denominations, and spheres of influence that come together to leverage leadership toward solutions for some of society’s greatest challenges.

Special rates may available for groups and individuals. Additionally, HSU is providing a limited number of scholarships for the event to under-resourced non-profit leaders and ministers in the Abilene area. As a premier host site, HSU has secured deeply discounted rates for HSU and Logsdon Seminary alumni, faculty, staff, students, and board members (a special code is available via the office below).

For more information or to register for The Global Leadership Summit at Hardin-Simmons University, please contact James C. Stone, Executive Director of University Relations for HSU at 325.670.1258 or jstone@hsutx.edu.
