Chaluza Kapaale, assistant professor and chair of undergraduate nursing programs, joined the Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing in 2012. His expertise and passion for nursing include a background in perioperative nursing. Kapaale has completed his bachelor’s degree with McMurry University, his master’s degree from Hardin-Simmons University, and is currently completing his PhD with the University of Texas at Tyler. While pathophysiology is his favorite subject to teach, he has taught subject areas in pathophysiology, pharmacology, health assessment, dimensions of nursing, and fundamentals of nursing as well.
