Teresa C. Ellis, theological librarian, joined the faculty of Hardin-Simmons University and Logsdon School of Theology and Logsdon Seminary in 2003. Mrs. Ellis oversees the development of the library theology collection, serves as library liaison to Logsdon, teaches library instruction and theological research and writing to theology students, and presents the history of the English Bible through the Tandy and Kelley Bible collections to classes and various groups as requested.
She received her Bachelor of Science (Political Science) degree from the University of Central Arkansas, her Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and her Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas.
She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and serving as deacon at First Baptist Church in Abilene. She has participated in mission projects in Mexico, Mississippi, and South Africa. She is a member of the American Theological Library Association and the Association of Librarians and Archivists at Baptist Institutions. Mrs. Ellis is married to Dr. Bob Ellis, Dean of Logsdon School of Theology and Logsdon Seminary, and they have two grown daughters.
