Kimberly Cooper, assistant professor and didactic curriculum coordinator, joined Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing in August of 2006. Her expertise includes her background as a family nurse practitioner as well as critical care in the surgical ICU and burn ICU. Mrs. Cooper has completed an associate, bachelor, and master’s degree in nursing, as well as her post master’s certificate for family nurse practitioners. Since joining PHSSN she has taught subject areas in fundamentals of nursing, health assessment, pediatrics, critical care, professional nursing practicum, and advanced health assessment.
