Mike Jones, M.F.A.


Mike Jones, professor of art and head of the HSU Department of Art, received the M.F.A. in graphic design from Louisiana Tech University in 1990 and the B.F.A. in graphic design from East Tennessee State University in 1984. He has worked as a graphic designer for Houghton College in upstate New York and taught graphic design there as well.

His other positions have included graphic design professor and art department chair at Ouachita Baptist University and graphic designer for Centre de Media Baptistes in Ivory Coast, West Africa.

He has been a freelance designer for Rude Dude Productions and is co-owner and design director of 5 Point Creative advertising agency in Abilene, Texas.
