The RN-BSN program provides Diploma and Associate Degree prepared nurses an opportunity to further develop clinical reasoning and analytical skills. In addition, the RN-BSN program will enhance students’ ability to provide care for clients, their families, and the community – as well as to advance their careers.
Through expanding initial nursing preparation with course work to enhance professional development, preparing for a broader scope of clinical practice, and providing a better understanding of the cultural, political, economic, and social issues that affect patients and influence care delivery, our program enables BSN graduates to go on to graduate nursing programs to pursue the role of Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Educator.
