Master of Arts in Management

    The mission of the fully-online Master of Arts in Management program is to provide its graduates with the managerial and technical skills in business to enhance the lives of the people and organizations within their sphere of influence.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Analyze how individuals and groups interact within organizations.
    • Develop knowledge of strategies that support stakeholders and enhance organizational capacity.
    • Evaluate human behavior within organizations to understand effective leadership, organizational communication, ethical practices, and cogent decision-making principles.
    • Demonstrate the ability to create and sustain lifelong learning to promote a cohesive culture within an organization.
    • Analyze and integrate theories of leadership within personal and professional contexts.
    • Demonstrate skills for effective strategy development within an organization by completing a capstone project.

    Admissions Requirements

    To be eligible for the MA in Management program, a candidate must hold or be pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. The candidate will need an undergraduate degree in any field with a required 3.0 GPA in undergraduate work. No GMAT or GRE required. Seniors currently pursuing a bachelor degree (excluding BBA) from Hardin-Simmons are allowed to enter the EAGL program allowing 6 hours of graduate work to count toward both degrees.
