• HSU Pokémon Go Guidelines

Visitors are welcome on the Hardin-Simmons University campus. We ask that all community and student visitors be considerate, stay alert, and follow these safety guidelines:

    1. Mind all traffic rules and regulations while on campus. Please be careful of where you are going while playing the game. Do not walk out into streets or drive and play at the same time.
    2. Refrain from entering University buildings unless previously authorized to do so for the purposes of education or employment. Bathrooms are available for visitors in the Moody Student Center.
    3. Follow campus regulations. No tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or guns are allowed on campus. Dress must be appropriate. Dogs must be on leashes. Visit the online HSU Student Handbook for all campus regulations. (http://www.hsutx.edu/includes/publications/studenthandbook/) If campus rules are not followed, HSU officers will ask you nicely to comply and then visitors not in compliance will be asked to leave.
    4. Respect the campus quiet hours. Visitors are welcome between the hours of 10 a.m. and midnight.
    5. Obey the instructions of HSU’s University Police Officers. They will ask visitors to leave each night at midnight to enforce the rules.
    6. Mind all posted signs on campus related to construction, security, or other safety restrictions. Areas of campus may be undergoing construction at certain times and may be off limits.
    7. Most importantly – have fun! Hardin-Simmons University believes in sharing Christ’s love and hospitality. If you want to learn more about our school or take a full tour, please stop by our welcome center. Remember to share your recent on-campus catches with us on social media using the hashtag #PokemonGoing2HSU.
