Dr. Delvin Atchison to Speak at Cornerstone Lecture Series

Delvin Atchison, Director of the Great Commission Team for the Texas Baptists, will serve as the speaker for the annual Cornerstone Lecture Series at Hardin-Simmons University. The event will be from September 19-21.

The event is free for the public to attend, but it is requested for those attending to RSVP by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14 at 325-670-1255 or at Terri.L.Prestidge@hsutx.edu .

Guest speaker Pastor Atchison has been public speaking since the age of nine and a ministry preacher since sixteen years old.

Atchison has had the opportunity of participating in the 1^st Annual UK African American Preaching Festival at Oxford University in 2011 and studied in Rome, Italy at the Vatican in 2013.

Many of his sermons have also been published in numerous periodicals, such as Epitome and the Truett Pulpit.
