A Ring by Spring

HSU juniors graduating in May of 2016 gathered on the front porch of Moody to participate in Junior Jam to celebrate their time here at HSU.

Laura Abasi, junior biology major from North Richland Hills, said, “Junior Jam is a celebration of our progress at HSU and a reminder of why we came here! I am so blessed to go to a school where students aren’t forgotten after their freshman year and remembered right before they graduate!”

Student Life gave out free chicken sandwiches from Chick-fil-a, to every junior that attended and then students enjoyed fellowship in the POD.  

Colby James, junior accounting major from Grapevine, said, “I always love free food and it’s fun to see people you started college with and catch up with them.”

The first 50 students received a free shirt with “Ring by Spring” graduation ring t-shirt.

Brooke Massey, junior graphic design major from Frisco, said, “Junior jam was such a great activity! I really enjoyed getting lunch along with such a hysterical shirt that I will wear for a long time.”
